Your Permission to BE

How many of us don’t take the time to simply BE?

I know…it might seem like you don’t have the time because life is full, with jobs, families, errands, holidays, dinners, appointments—the list goes on.

But personally if I don’t take about 15 minutes a day to BE—and do nothing at all—I get even more frazzled. This means I put my iPhone away (and even turn off the sounds so I don’t hear the ding of a new email), close the lid to my computer and sit with myself. I’ll write in my journal or listen to music or even sit in silence.

I basically calm my mind and all its busy chatter for a period of time. It’s my version of meditation and I highly recommend it.

Do Nothing But…

So today, even in the midst of holidays and errands and all that work you want to finish right this second, I am giving you permission to do nothing but BE.

BE silent…

BE calm…

BE at peace…

BE accepting…

The effects of stepping away from all that you have to DO to BE may surprise you.

Laughter Everyday…

Are you stressed?

Are you laughing enough in your everyday life?

If your worried about money, health, family, you’re not alone.

There is a lot of stress on this planet, but what I have learned is that the one way to make your life more upbeat is laughter.

Here are some things I do to make me laugh: I make sure to surround myself by funny people, I make sure to follow people on Twitter who are funny, I make sure to goof around with my family, friends and clients. That is just to name a few.
